Yoga
Lucy’s yoga practice has changed her life in many ways. She was hesitant about going to her first class but once she did she never looked back. Lucy’s practice has helped her tremendously, in many areas of her life. It has helped with her mental health specifically her anxiety, ability to be present, helped with her scoliosis, strength, spirituality, sense of community, and overall quality of life. She loves how her practice is always evolving and teaching her new things. She dislikes the notion that you have to be fit and flexible to do yoga. She is not flexible but is always trying to improve her mobility, she really likes using blocks and straps to help in her Asana practice. Lucy used to and still loves being upside down but recently she has been enjoying deep hip and shoulder openers. She aims to make her classes assessable and fun for all types of yogis, offering lots of modifications and pose variations.
Yoga is a beautiful thing like no other because everyone can practice, everyone's practice is unique and holds a different meaning for everyone.
Lucy’s practice is a mixture of Hatha and Vinyasa, if you come to her class you will likely see some deep hip and shoulder openers paired with strength-building peak poses. She has been told that her classes are very approachable and enjoyable for all levels.
